I've been having some major echo issues with my headset. I have a KOSS SB/45 headset. And i'm running Windows XP.
Here is my setup.
I have a line out of the back of my case going to my normal computer speakers.
The headset is plugged in the front of the case via a mic in port and a line out (headphone) port.
My old headset had USB so it took a little while to get used to but I would never have any echoing problems. But if i'm using my mic and there's ANY sound going on in the headphones then it will instantly echo it back as i'm talking. Now i'm thinking this is because all of the sound is going straight to my motherboard, as I don't have a "real" sound card. So would I need a sound card to maybe just plug my headset into?
