Red face Slow hardware startup from sleep

Hey guys every time I sleep my computer my keyboard and mouse take a bit of time before I can use them again. Usually the "new hardware discovery" sound comes up and then I can use them (keyboard first then mouse)

Any ideas on how to fix this? Not a big deal just annoying when I'm in a rush

I have a standard ACER keyboard and a Razer Deathadder if it matters...

I assume they are plugged into the back on the machine? Does the KB&M have drivers? you might install those, then you system would see it all the time. I had to do that with the Razor I got off Trotter a long time ago... I keep having the same issue, and that worked.
