Default Simple Question: Will this bottleneck

I'm getting a card soon, it might be a 4870 x2 or a 9800, I have an Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.2ghz each

it depends on what card you get,

there are a lot of 9800's but a 9800GTX+ will not be bottlenecked by a e2200

but the 4870x2 will be bottlenecked.

Why not a HD 4870 or HD 4850....

But the HD 4870X2 would SEVERELY bottleneck a e2200 at low resolutions

Wait, low resolutions? What if I play at 1680x1050 widescreen?

That's considered low for an HD 4870X2....

1080p and up wouldn't be considered "low" for an HD 4870X2...

In your case you really need no more than a HD 4850
