Default simple hardware question

Does anybody know if there is any website or software out there that teaches you how to fix broken hardware parts? Such as a broken cd burner and such...thank you

The cost to repair things like CD or DVD players far out-weighs the cost of just buying a new drive. Thats what most people do...

IF you have an old OPTICAL DRIVE, take it apart and check it out. It's a nice learning experience. If you have an old hard drive, take it apart and check it out too...
