shutdown problems

For the last 3-4 days every time the AC comes on the computer reboots. Have tried different outlets and it still shuts down. Nothing else in the house goes off. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

your going to have to clarify this question. it doesn't quite make sense to me. what do you mean "whenever the AC comes on"?

Every time the central air conditioning comes on, the computer will shut down and reboot. The computer is the only thing in the house that does this.

o lol. sorry i was thinkin something totally different. i was thinking AC=mains electricity. man im tired. all i can say is thats strange. have you tried unplugging a couple of other things in your house and running your computer? it could be that all up its drawing too much power and the pc is the last thing and gets cut off. i know it sounds strange but ive messed around with a power board in my room and it acted like that

it is possible for a power drop like that. something that you can do is to buy a ups (uninterruptible power supply) that way when the power drops it will go to the battery backup.
