hi all,
i have a motorola v3 razr cellphone which i charge using a usb cable from my pc.
however lately a problem has developed, it seems that whenever i disconnect the phone, or if a call comes in on it while it's connected, the computer will simply shut off in under a second, as if the cord was pulled. very annoying.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

heres my setup

ati/sapphire crossfire a9rd580adv (939 socket) mobo

amd athlon 64 x2 3800+ (Toledo) 2 GHz over clocked to 2.17 GHz

WD 160 gig sata

WD 160 gig IDE

asus/ati Radeon x1650 pro

Windows xp x64

thanx

Yeah, sounds like a driver problem or something of that sort. Try disabling automatic restart on system failure and write down any error codes you see next time it happens.

well nothing pops up because as soon as it rings, the pc just off instantly shuts off, as if their was a power dip but i will try disabling auto restart.
