Hey,

I had an idea of getting myself a small hard drive that would hold windows and there hopefully making things a little faster. So i got an SCSI 9.1 GB 10000RPM. But i have only ever used IDE before so dont really know what to do. Is there any way i can just buy a cable to plug it into my ASUS A8N SLI DELUXE mobo? I dont really know anything about hard drives.

Please could someone help me....is this possible what do i need to buy?

Thanks! Over and Out!

No, SCSI looks like IDE but it is not. You can't just plug your SCSI drive into your IDE controller. You need a SCSI controller.

Thanks for the reply, so i can still get a controller that will allow me to use the hard drive with the current mobo? Could you please give me a link to what sort of thing i should be looking at.
