Default Screen Scramble

I have been having a problem with my screen doing strange things. Sometimes it has horizontal lines that scramble the screen. Sort of like static. Other times when playing Battlefield 2 I will get a "cone" pointing towards the mouse. If I minimize the window and bring it back up it will clear. Sometimes the game screen will get fuzzy and freeze, requiring a re-boot. I'm not sure how to post a screen shot without a web site, so I know it will be hard to picture my problem.

My specs:
P4 3.2 gig
Nvidia 256mb Gforce 6200
Abit AN8 Motherboard w/ 856 chipset
3 x 512mb RAM

I am current on all updates and patches. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well that's what I thought. I had an older GeFroce 5700 card when I started having these problems. I upgraded to the new card and bingo...same problems right off the bat.

Hope this shows up:
