my labtop screen does not seem very bright how do i change that? it's a dell inspiron 8200
screen

Why do you always call it a LABTOP?? It's a LaPtop see the "P", lol anyway the 8200 came with either the nvidia go or the ati 9000 mobility video which one do you have? If its the Radeon then download the latest catalyst drivers (for Laptops) and then you can go into the ati program and brighten it up. And if it's the nvidia go then download the latest nvidia forceware drivers and same thing. To see if you already have on of these two programs installed just right click the desktop and click properties. then click the settings tab, then the advanced button, and look for the geforce tab if its nvidia or the ati options if its an ATI.
