S.M.A.R.T HD Report

So my 6 month old WD SATA2 HD has starting messing up. It will randomly make a single click noise and lock up the system. It doesnt do it all the time just randomly, it started about 2 months ago and has done it about 6-7 times since. The most it has ever done this was 3 times in one day. I figure the drive is going bad so I RMAed it. In order to check the drive I downloaded the WD diagnostics and there is a S.M.A.R.T. log file but I have no idea how to read this. Just wanted to know what people thought about the HD problem and if anyone knows how to read this. I can post a screen shot when I get home.

Just download SpeedFan, go to the S.M.A.R.T. tab, and select your Sata hard drive. It will show two little bars on the bottom, "fitness" and "performance".
