Router won't connect to internet

hey. I installed my Trendnet Wireless-G Router 432-BP and have received the signal on my computer which I am trying to connect to the internet.

Well, it's connected, but it won't let me go onto the net.

I am running Vista Premium and have installed all the content of the cd's.


In network connections there is a diagram of the connection, which goes:

My computer > Netowrk (rouyter) >x internet .

Any ideas?

try configuring the router through the browser
1. open browser, type in the Ip address of the router (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, or etc)
2. Pop up will come up saying type in username then password (default is Admin as user, and leave password blank)
3. Disable Mac filtering or just add your computer mac address in the routers configuration
4. save & exit
5. restart computer or repair connection
