Router...

ok if i connect my modem straight to my pc the internet never messes up, however if i run it through a router, it will at random times go out and i have to completely reset the router by holding the reset button for 30 seconds before it will work again, however, it cant be the router because i've used 2 different linksys wireless routers, both of which worked fine until i moved here... any ideas?

Perhaps your ISP doesn't like routers.

Some ISP's dot not want their signal routed. Couldn't hurt to lob them a call. They may have the answer or they may be just as clueless as we are.

most of the time it happens when i put a lot of strain on it, like bit torrents or online gaming..

Have you gone into your setup page and setup encription?
