I have a new laptop and attached an external hard drive which i have had for some time. I renamed one of the folders then when i connected it later the folder is missing. I cant find it anywhere and have tried using the search function. It must still be there because the folder is about 250GB in size and this is showing in the properties of the hard drive. Anyone know where it might have gone and if it is retrievable? I didnt delete it, only renamed it! thanks
