Removing a partition

I want to remove the partition on my 250GB HDD. It is currently 150/100. I built this system some time ago and have since added a second 120GB drive for data back-up. I would like to wipe this drive and reformat it so it is only a single 250GB drive. This drive does contain my Windows OS. What would be the easiest way to do this???

Backup your files to the new hard drive. Change the boot priority within your OS to CD first, then put the CD in before booting and boot from the CD. At that point delete the two partitions, making one large unallocated space, then format using NTFS and install windows.
