remember the vp6?

I bought a abit vp6 pn ebay and have been trying really hard to get windows xp to work with it . it hangs on setup is starting windows im running 2k pro now had to workaround to get that to work if anyone knows any thing that i may be missing let me know please.
i am running
vp6 duel p3 1ghz
nvdia fx5200 128 agp
1380 mgs pc133 ram
it has onboard raid and i have the drivers

ive tryed an old 8mg trident vidio card updated the bios and trie to install it with nothin but the essentals with bios falesafe defaults nothing i mean nothing has worked
