i just wiped my drive, but when i tried to reboot and reinstall windows the only thing that pops up is reboot using floppy disk. i dont know what happened, but i believe my hard drive has failed me. I took my hd out, and im going to buy a new one, but i just want to be sure it isnt the only problem. my specs are , e6400 core 2 duo, p5n-e sli mobo, 600w ultra psu, and my new 9800 gtx (which i havent even been able to use). if you can offer me some help please do.

make sure u go into bios and change the boot device to your cd drive not the floppy drive. it could be trying to boot from ur floppy and not your cd.

also are you using a raid setup? you may need to install raid drivers first.

thats what i thought might have been wrong, but it wasn't. no i dont have an raid setup. thanks for the input though. i don't know what could be the problem, ive never had this happen before.
