How do i reboot my computer so that i start over again?

I got a very old Sony Vaio with windows XP and i dont know what you mean by media as in music and stuff then yea
You should have a disc that came with it to restore it to it's original state when you bought it. If not, you'll need a Windows XP CD.
If you have any music, videos, documents etc that you want to keep, you'll have to back them up first (burn them to a CD/DVD, put them on an external hard drive or usb stick, put them on another computer...etc) before you do it, as you will lose all information.
EDIT: Forgot to say how to do it lol..
If you have the restore disc, you just stick it in the CD/DVD drive and then restart your PC. You should be asked to press any key to boot from CD, so you do that and then follow the instructions (normally it's like a ghosted image and you just restore it, it will walk you through it).
If you only have a Windows XP CD, you have to restart in the same manner (press any key to boot from cd) and then the Windows XP installation screen will (eventually) come up. You'll have to delete your current partition and then create a new one, format it (with NTFS), and then finish installing XP. For the most part, it will walk you through the process.
