Default Reading my hard drive

Recently my laptop failed and will not boot at all. I have a lot of data on the hard drive that I need to get back. Is there a hard drive reader that I can get anywhere? All I have left if the hard drive now as the laptop is gone.

Put it into another machine as a slave and get the info that way.

I dont have access to any other laptop that fits this drive! Is there a cable I can use to setup the slave?

It would help if you included the name and model number or picture of drive.

check out your local computer shop, they should have a 2.5 to 3.5 hdd converter. then just plop it into your desktop machine and get all the data off. dont forget to set up the jumper to slave.

unless its a sata 2.5 disk then all you gotta do is just hook it up via sata power/data connections and youre set.
