A cousin gave me a 8GB dane elec usb stick which seems to be corrupt because it contains many files (all of them in a specific directory) which occupy ~1-2 GB each. There is over 20 of them. They have not valid windows names.
This seems to have triggered write protection. There is no switch to enable this on the flash drive.
Is there any software that can format the drive without giving a **** about write protection, non-valid filenames and the fact that an 8GB stick seems to contain 67GB of data???
Is there other ways to fix this USB stick?
