You could check Event Viewer to see if there's any info there.
If not, then you could open up msconfig and go to the Startup tab and disable everything. Same with Services tab (check the box for "Hide Microsoft services" before you start disabling stuff first, though). Then re-enable one at a time until you find your culprit.
