random restart file problem

well i searched but i figure since i have screenshots of the problem i can give alittle more info to help solve the problem
my friends computer will randomly restart while playings games (fear, CSS) so far, well i dont think its heat, when we check the bios temp imediatly after it shows 40c as his cpu temp
his system specs
6600Gt
1gig pc3200 ram i think its like corsair value select
2.7ghz intel celeron never overclocked anything
skt 478 biostart mobo i dont know what model or anything

start -> control panel -> system -> advanced -> startup and recovery -> uncheck "automatically restart".

did it work?


EDIT:

i wouldnt play games on ANY celeron. They have low cache, therefore they lag when gaming. Just ask anybody on here.
 
instead of restarting what will it do when the system fails?
well it wasnt intended as a gamming machine, it was just a computer to have then he got the video card so he could play a few games
