CPU: i5-2500k @ 4GHZ
GPU: Zotac GTX 970
RAM: 2GB G.Skill 1600 (4 times => 8GB)
Mainboard: Asus P8P67-M Pro Rev 3.0
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer (520W, 80+)
What I've done to try to fix my problem:
Reinstall Graphics Drivers (always clean install)
Checking RAM with Memtest86 (nothing faulty)
Checking GPU with furmark (nothing faulty)
Checking CPU with prime95 (nothing faulty)
Checking if the components get enough power from the PSU (they do)
Removing OC on my CPU
Underclocking my GPU slightly (read about that in other forums)
The crashes do not appear under load, they're seemingly random.
As I said, no dumpfile is created and all temperatures are fine.
There's nothing except "the last shutdown was unexpected" in the event log after a crash (I guess it's a hardware problem then?).
Log back into your windows machine and look at the event viewer.
Click on windows logs and then click once on system.
Once the log view opens up pinpoint the date where the bsod happen.
You may see a red x error or yellow exclamation warning you of a problem.
It should be able to give a you a hint at where the problem is.
Right click on that error and view the details if you can't make sense of it.
Click copy and bring it back here either I or someone else will look into it further and see whats going on.
