Hello there my old computer was getting pretty dull because it always slows down when i try multitasking so i had to upgrade my computer.

Yesterday the list for my upgrades was a new MOBO, RAM and Processor.

I started assembling them all with a reformatted HDD and my old RAM and IDE devices.

When I tried to install the OS it was ok at about 30% of the installation process and then BAM! There was the blue screen.

Then i tried to re-install the OS with only the newer RAM in it. then there it was again.

Then i tried with my old RAM only and it worked!

So i went to the manufacturer and tried to swap it but those technician guys told me it was working properly... Wha!!? i said .. they said they tested it and they said it worked..

OK... Ok... maybe it was only all in my mind i said to myself but it turned out the problem was there again when i tried to re-install the OS again...

Tell me what is the real deal about this cuz i cant work with a flawed RAm...

Here's my specs...

Intel945GZ intel MOBO
New Ram: 512mb 533mhz
old ram: 256 mb 533mhz
1.86 Core 2 Duo
160 GB seagate
WinXP SP2
