Post RAM problem

i have a 2gb dual channel kit of DDR3 memory that i am trying to sell. i put them in and my pc booted but then showed a blue screen and restarted itself. i took one stick out my pc ran fine, switched the sticks out and my pc still ran fine. i then put both back in and the same blue screen showed and restarted. anyone have any idea what is causing this? how do i fix it?

It sounds like they dont run in Dual Channel mode.

is there a way to disable dual channel mode?

pop them into the slots right next to each other
(should be different colors)
