i told him to ask here since i couldn't figure out the issue. we figured it out tho. it turns out we had to set the ram on second and fourth slot and it fixed it. he had the ram on the first and second slot working fine for years. i remember i had to do the same thing on a asus amd board before, i just forgot about till today when i seen a pic online with same board and the ram set that way.
in any case i'm glad it's working now.
