My new motherboard is coming today (DFI Lanparty) which is replacing my Gigabyte board. I have a RAID 0 array currently. Will I be able to switch this over to the new DFI motherboard and have it work? At least have it work enough that I can back up my stuff.

Any comments, ideas, tips?

EDIT: Heh, it just arrived.

hmmm, not sure with RAID 0, RAID 5 you cannot (well, you can but scaaaary).

the RAID controller holds the array information for those disks. you can reverse the process for a new controller (take information off the disks and write to the controller) but like i said...scary.

back up ALL your data man before you do anything.

Yeah, I wish I had backed my stuff up. I've got a backup, but it's kinda old. I flashed my mobo BIOS last week, and it didn't take. :( I've never had a problem flashing before. Well, I'm gonna go stick this new board in, and hope it'll work and I can get my stuff off it.
