Default RAID Array

hi there...i am having trouble with a pc which has a RAID array of 2 disks in stripe..and a 3rd main disk for running windows

the problem is is that windows runs fine but the pc keeps crashing every so often and im sure its to do with a problem with the RAID maybe i havnt set it up properly.

Pentium 4
3.0 GHZ
200GB HD
256mb Radeon 9600

have the motherboard's chipset drivers been installed and the RAID controller's drivers installed?
