Question about Acer notebook and OS

I have a Acer notebook with windows MC installed on it I want to wipe the hd clean and reinstall but i have no disk. Is there a way to make a back up disk of just the OS with out all the preloaded crap on it and reinstall?

Also how do you change the amount of memory assigned to integrated gpu?
