Unhappy Queer Hard Drive? (Western Digital)

New HArd Drive arrived today

This one:

Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (WD7500AAKS)

and I screw it in and realize there's no power connector ???

Am I clueless or should there be a power connector on my hard drive?

Hmm

I'm using this to connect to my harddrive:

Western Digital WDSC50RCW Secure Connect Serial ATA Cable

It fills the sata power connector, but I guess it doesn't power the drive?

Nope. It requires a data connection and a power connection.

Ya, my wester digital 160gb drive came with one of those wonky cables, but it also had a 4 pin molex connector on it. You need to get a regular sata cable and either use the adapter linked above me or your psu should have sata power unless its really old.
