How to check if ithe processor is damaged by static electricity?

also, what is the chance of a static electricity will damange the processor after removin placing it a plastic box came with the processor itself, then bringing it out and travel around?

for installing a AMD processor, the leaver down is enough to tighten the processor right?

the pin should have nothing but pin right? i mean the pin side
cus i saw mine with a whitish cream thing at 1 grp of pins...i wonder what that

ive seen ram carried in plastic shopping bags around and preform fine, so id say yours is ok,, the whitish cream is probably old thermal paste
