I got a acer aspire 9410z with a 17" LCD which I bought exactly 2 years ago and just recently started having problems with the screen. It looks as if the screen if divided into thirds horizontally and starts off flickering and ends being completely blacked out. Once that section is done the next one starts. Has anyone else encountered this problem or anything similar to it? Any help is appreciated.
I think it's worth noting that I blacked out about 2 weeks ago carrying my laptop which my disc drive and thought the screen issues might have been related but took more time to appear. I haven't used it for about a week as the majority of the screen was blacked out but after turning it on yesterday only to find the screen was back to normal. The way I see it, it's only a matter of time before the problem returns.
