OK, I'll give you the full run-through. My hard drive went down and I put another hard drive in the computer, went to install windows and I accidentally formatted my backup harddrive with all my data on it. It was horrible. The next day, I took it to a data recovery specialist and he was able to get all my data off the harddrive so I was good to go.

I then jumped onto another computer which happens to be newer and better and started using that one since my normal computer still needed a windows install. Every time I tried to install windows on my normal computer, while it was formatting the hard drive, it'd finish and say that the hard drive is bad and it can't format. It did that to several hard drives, some I new were good. So, like I said, I switched to my other computer, I started using it and decided that I would permanently start using that one. So, I took that computer to my desk, adding a slave drive to be my backup and then when I started the computer, it said there was an error reading the operating system. I tried a million things with the wiring, it didn't work, I put the system disk in and ran the Recovery Console and tried a disk check, it said that the disk was bad now. It was working 2 minutes before.

So, I have 2 hard drives with data on them that I needed so I put another hard drive in the computer to install windows on, it tried to format, it said the disk was bad. I did it again, tried to format, the disk was bad. Then I used the same drive that I know was good, that I had all the data recovered off of and it said that one was bad. It is impossible for all my hard drives to go bad in a period of 2 hours. my thoughts were that it could be the Windows disk so I tried another that I had, still bad. Then my thoughts went to the mother board, but it was working fine 2 hours ago. I've tried everything and I'm just exhausted and another wasted day, any feedback would be appreciated.

I would lean toward bad cables or a bad mother board. There is no reason for all those drives to repoart as bad. The only thing i can think of is that there is a nasty on the drive which has corrupted the other drives now which is causing them to report that they are bad. Very slim chance of that but figured i would say it.
