Okay, my brother's computer has been having problems, and I'm at college right now, so I was wondering if any of you might have a solution.
If he wasn't on the computer for a few minutes, it would automatically shut down. Then he would turn it on, and nothing happened, it just clicked. The CD-ROm drive light would blink when it clicked. He turned it off completely, but fan on the processor kept spinning (everything was off). He unplugged the power supply cord from the wall, and plugged it back in. Now, it refuses to turn on, but the fan will stop and go sporadically.
If any of you have any ideas as to what this might be, your answers would be very helpful! I'll be going home on Wednesday, so I can get some hands-on time with it there. Thanks!
