Hi Friends,

I Am Having Problem With Installation Of Hp Laserjet Printer M1005mfp

The Problem Is

It Is Usb Printer

I M Able To Install Printer On Windows Xp

The Printer Is Not Able To Detect On The Windows Server 2003

I Have Install The New Dirvers Downloaded From The Hp's Website.

I Am Stuck And Don't Under Stand What Is The Problem

I Had Talk With Hp's Customer Service But They Are Not Able To Sort Out.

I Even Format The System To Sort Out The Problem But It Didn't Wokrout.

If Any One Plase Be Able To Guide Me I Will Be Glad

does the site mention, that its compatible with 2003?

it should have even worked without device drivers, as its generic drivers used.

have you tried, using any other USB device on the printer port? your USB may be faulty.

One thing to try on an HP usb model is the add printer or add new hardware wizard found in control panel. When installing Vista here the task was to see the drivers alone copied off of the software disk and installed by Windows while the software side was left out. That would be one way to see if the drivers alone are compatible if none are found for 2003.
