Problem with my Lite-On CD Burner.

Hey,
I bought a Lite-On (LTR-401255) CD Burner from my friend. In his machine, it was working great and all. And, when I arrived here, I plugged it in my computer as the slave drive (along with my Samsung DVD-ROM) and then tried to burn on a CD, and it said that the max was 2X... I was like ... WTH? And then I did a drive speed test and it said that the max was 2x and the max read was 32x. And my burning speed is supposed to be 40x! And now, I tried to burn on a CD-RW at 2x... it dind't worked out, at around 25% it said an error.

Use different software such as Roxio EasyCD creator.

Trying with Alchohol 120%... and the result... omg... still saying that it's 2X and that the read is 12X!

I'm telling ya, it's not a software problem, well it's maybe windows

BTW: If I put a blank and click on my E: (burner) it says "Invalid Function"
