Default Problem With Mouse/Computer

Hey... So my mouse keeps shutting on and off randomly while in game play. It is NOT the mouse because I used a different mouse (same brand and model Logitech G5) and it is doing the EXACT same thing. It will shut on and off randomly, it will randomly change settings. So, there is something wrong with the interface with the computer. I downloaded the most recent drivers for the mouse, didn't change a thing. Ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried totally removing the drivers and reinstalling them? Have you tried installing (or reinstalling if you already had it installed) Logitech's SetPoint software to add additional functionality to the mouse?

I do have Setpoint. Have not tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling however... There appears to be more problems. It seems like the machine is acting "virus-y"; running slow, not allowing my AV software to run full scans, when trying to reinstall said AV program (which happens to be CA) it will not download it properly.
How do I "clean" the computer beyond just running disc clean up and defrag?

You can go through our removal guide here:
Spyware Asylum

I would also recommend using Microsoft Security Essentials; its free, and has good detection rate. Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

Hey, thanks for the help. I have not downloaded your fix combo, but I did run (in this order) Avast! (free vers.), Malwarebytes, and then SpyBot Search and destroy. None of those turned up anything. In the process of downloading your combo fix now and will try that.

Alright, attached is the log of the combo fix you suggested. See anything unusual?

You should also run HJT.

I thought the combo fix had HJT in it? Isn't that what the log shows?
