Default Problem with lacie external

I bought a small portable external Lacie hardrive, which said it should have around 340gigs of space. I connected it to my computer and it says....i have 30gigabytes....i formated it in NTFS and FAT 32 no change there. Should i take it back?

Try using GParted:
