Default Problem Installing Drivers for Geforce FX 5200

Apologies in advance if this issue has been beaten to death, but I couldn't find anything through the search engine, soo..

I am in possession of an eMachines T2200. It has an Athlon XP 2200 Processor running at 1.8Ghz, 512MBs of RAM, and up until recently, an integrated S3 ProSavage 8 Integrated Graphics Card.

Recently, I upgraded my graphics card from the S3 ProSavage to the GeForce FX 5200. The generic drivers that XP Pro automatically installs works no problem, but when I go to install the real drivers from the CD, I get the following error:

"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

Currently running Windows XP Professional, SP2.

Suggestions?

did you disable the onboard graphics from the bios or via an onboard jumper? and did you uninstall the onboard graphics driver?
might wanna try the latest driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html

*just* figured out the issue. I was missing a specific agp driver that doesn't come from NVidia, so I had to scour the net.

So I found it, installed it, and now the driver from the CD installs fine without a hitch. Thanks folks!

www.guru3d.com has many video card drivers for download. they are normally very up-to date aswell.
Nvidia uses Forceware drivers
