Default Problem that is driving me NUTS!

Ok so I've been computer game-less for close to a month now..
If you remember, I made a post a few weeks ago about how my computer WONT post.. or even show video.. it just continues to say 'No signal detected'.

So I assumed it was my mobo..

could it be possible that my CPU fried? Has anyone tried a mobo without a CPU, does it post? I wouldn't imagine it would..

Thanks, please give your input or suggestions. I've tried 2 different video cards, 2 monitors, took out the ram..
i dont know!'

please help.

try the onboard graphics instead of the card.

try taking out all the ram except 1 module.

change the psu if you have an extra one laying around. it might be that your psu isn't putting out enough power for your setup.

A notice to EVERYONE who has posted here with a computer problem, I highly encourage you to keep current with the forums, even if it's browsing for 10-15 minutes during lunch, or before you go to bed at night. There are many things that you can learn and apply to future issues. My goal is to help people get to a point where they can use their own knowledge to help themselves, and others.

Also please use the search button. You've got a 50/50 chance that someone's asked your question and we've answered it.

It will give you a beep code if it isn't shot and you have the CPU removed. If not then try removing everything from the mobo, and slowly replace things till it won't post...
