The new pc had a 8600GS, my old pc had a 7950GT which is faster, so i swapped the cards, the new pc had a crappy 350w psu so i put my 520w ocz psu in so no problems there.
As for drivers, both cards use the same ones or at least the same forceware.
But dont forget, after one or two automatic restarts the pc works perfectly, so do my games................. if it was a driver issue id be having all sorts of glitches on my games
