for some reason it says that i have a extra ram slot open...but i'm prettry sure there isn't...so what the **** is up wit that?

Well, have you checked to make sure that there isn't one open?

It's a possibility that one of your sticks of RAM could be bad, but make sure you do or don't have a free slot first.

If I remember correctly, SOME motherboards need to you have ALL of the slots filled. If you recieved any of the slot fillers (like blank memory sticks, I think they are called RIMM's or something like that). Make sure they are all filled.

i check them all...theres only 2 slots and its all filled with 128 ram...so yeah...maybe its just messed up
