We have here a datacard printer that is connected to a PC. This PC is on life support and needs a new HD among other things. The issue is with this printer. I have the install CD, but the vendor connected remotely and set it up with a bunch of custom settings so it would do what we paid for. We don't want to have to pay for this service a second time. Is it possible to copy these settings or do I have to go to each tab and take a screenie or something. I was hoping everything would be in a nice folder somewhere that I could just copy and paste but that would be too easy.

Do not know of one off hand but realistically you should have the setting written down for archive purposes. If your new computer crashes you would be back in the same boat without access to the setups. For some production companies I worked for their machines had crazy printer setups and we just had pdf files with all of the setups in case we had to reset one up.
