I'm new to this sight and started stuying IT about a year ago, so still learning troubleshooting(as if the learning ever stops...).
Just had a friend call and said she had a power surge & now she has blank screen. She has XP home installed, but not even the boot options screen is coming up. Have a suspicion that the power surge cause some pretty bad damage & not much can be done, but would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance
