Okay, so I've just done something pretty **** stupid ¬_¬; My pc was turned off but some of the components were on standby. I noticed a red switch on the back reading 230V, yeah I know it looks as though it should stay there, I've had a few to drink so decided it was a good idea to see what would happen if I flicked it. It went to 115V and then there was a quiet pop and a blue flash inside my power supply ¬_¬;

Am I right in assuming that I've just fried the power supply and I need to buy a new one like from Win Power PSU 800W 2x SATA cable dual 8cm fan silent 20 +4 pin PCI-E connector- microdirect.co.uk

The pc wont turn on at all, there was no smoke, no flash anywhere other than inside the power supply (I could see as I was sat behind it.)

Yep fried PSU. You can plug a psu set at 230 into a 110v without killing it but not vice versa.

What components do you have as an 800watt psu is probably more than you need. I would rather see a better quality psu of lesser voltage.
