Power Supply Malfunction?

Alright so power came back on after hurricane! :-D

Anyways I was trying to turn on my computer and when you plug it into the wall you can clealry see the green light on the back of it, telling you that the power is on. However when I push the switch the computer turns back off again. I just want to make sure here that the problem i have is with the power supply and I would like to come to a consensus with all the fellow computer techies out their.

Alright its me again, I opened my computer and closed it again this time the computer stays on but the monitor wont turn on? Do you have any idea if the Power Supply has something to do with it, or if its the Video card?
