well i'm upgrading my fx 5200 to

and i only have a 250w power supply
Will i need a 500w instead?
if so
How do i know it will fit into my case?
are they all the same size?
or will i have to buy a new case and power supply?

I'd upgrade my PSU if I were you. eVGA recommends a minimum of 300W for their 6600. Go for 400W+.

How can we judge if it will fit in your case if we don't know what case you have...? The card looks standard sized, so unless your old graphics card is a low-profile one it ought to fit.

Unless they're designed for notebooks, usually. Besides, most sites list the physical dimensions of components such as PSUs.
