Default Potential Overclocking Trouble

Basically my ati AIW 9800 has an overheating problem already, but 2 days ago it stopped playing anything with 3d-hardware acceleration, such as WoW, Bf2142, anything like that, i havent personally overclocked my computer and dont even know how to do it, so i dont think thats it, but if anyone has an opinion or an idea whats wrong please let me know, my video card drivers are up to date.
