Please Help Me Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have somehow managed to delete the modem on my Sony laptop. Is there away of restoring my computer to it's original state. I know that there is the system restore thingy but I don't have any restore points before the modem went wrong.

Is there anything I can do?

just install its driver , very simple

How do I go about that? Sorry if I'm being thick. How do I know what modem it is? It's an internal one. I don't have any documentation which is annoying!!!!

go to Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager.

Find the modem, right-click on it, and click "update drivers"

To find the information of the laptop, go to My Computer, and click "view system information" on the left pane.

what do u mean 'delete the modem'?

maybe somehow u disabled it? in that case: go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware (tab) -> Device Manager -> Modems (expand it) -> right click your modem and go Enable.
