Are you sure you did a chkdsk /r?

Why can't you get memtest? It's a 76Kb file, takes you less than 2 seconds to download. Maybe a minute to burn to CD.

I ran chkdsk? Do I add the /r? And I currently do not have a cd burner.

yes, you write "chkdsk /r" without parenthesis. If you don't have a burner, have a friend make you a copy.

Typed it in, and it will start on my next boot. Will try that now, but I have seemed to update Garrys Mod, but now it pops up a different erro befor it goes to the menu: Engine Error Erro: Can't de-tween nonagon normals (#################) (#)

Memtest can be run from a CD, a Floppy Disk or from a USB Flash Drive. Run Memtest before you make any more posts in this thread, or any others threads if it pertains to this subject.
