Please help!....computer freezes after logging in...

After the boot logo, and logging in with a password, my computer freezes right away. Also every time I restart, the same thing happens. And after freezing, the screen turns white, with some kind of line or dot pattern. This started to happen after installing Ultramon. Can anyone please help?

When you boot hit f8 repeatedly until a menu comes up. Then start in safe mode. After you get into windows uninstall Ultramon and reboot. If it doesnt work reboot with F8 again and chose last known good configuration.

Hi. I think it's your Video Card. Did you get into Safe Mode succesfully? Post back with more infor about yout PC and what happened.

Yes I did get into safe mode, and I uninstalled ultramon...and right now everything seems ok. Was the software bad or something?
